Some weeks are better than others. The last 2 weeks have been particularly trying! Due to a relationship break up, I have been heartbroken and not able to focus as I should be (Life!). Internet disruptions and power outages from storms made it exceptionally challenging to get my assignments completed. Next, an overwhelming amount of reading to wade through for class compounded the problems, and then - COMPUTER FAILURE!
Thankfully, things are looking up! Sometimes people have unresolved issues that have nothing to do with us, realizing that, plus prayer, faith,family, and friends have helped me to get my mind back on track and my heart on the mend.
I have a new Mac Air headed my way! This will be the first personal laptop I have ever owned!!! I am so excited to be able to make videos and be up to speed technologically. I am thankful. =)
Yesterday, out of the blue, I received a friend request and a message from a student that had been in the Jr. High Band with my son. He told me what an inspiration we had been to him all those years ago. (My son is 22.) I did not realize that while we were muddling through life, learning more sign language, someone else was being inspired! I have never appreciated a needed note of encouragement more than now. Oh, the power of words!
